The package arrived in less than a week. The chair was super easy to put together. I did it alone in about 30 minutes. I have not had a chance to use it regularly. (Our baby is not due for another 8 weeks. But it was very comfy to sit and glide in, good back support, comfy plush fabric, good arm rest positioning. Can’t wait to use it all the time.

We ordered this based on the one review previous and were very nervous about a lack of reviews about it but we are very pleased with the product. We were looking for a contemporary glider without taking out a second mortgage and didn’t want to wait the 12- 13 weeks Babies R Us wants to make you wait for a special order (this came in three days). This glider is very comfortable and locks in place to recline. The fabric is soft and is very true to the picture online. I was skeptical about the need for a table but now love the fact that it came with it.

One thing of note: we had a problem with the base of the glider and called right a way about it. The customer support was top notch and few emails later I received a call from the actual sales rep who distributes this product for the manufacturer! I never expected to get anywhere with a problem with a chair bought online and thought my option was going to be to take it apart and try to box up and send back or live with it. Can’t believe it but the rep was unbelievable and within a few weeks a new base was shipped and it works great! We plan on having this glider in the living room long after the new baby stage.

She is due in two weeks, and the moment she sat in it and glided back and forth, there was a loud “sigh” followed by, I LOVE this chair. It provides a lot of support for the back and the glide mechanism is very smooth. It comes with no directions (other than assembly instructions), or I lost them between un-boxing and waiting for the replacement piece, so I have no idea if the “lock” adjusting mechanism is supposed to be engage/disengaged while seated or if you have to be out of the chair to adjust it. For now I will only change the setting when out of the chair if we use it at all. It adjusts to different angles if you don’t want to glide, and you want to lock it when you have toddlers who might hurt themselves on the gliding mechanism. But for now I don’t see my wife locking it for anything because the glide made her so happy.

The most difficult assembly step for me was the fabric that goes over the arm rests. All you have to do is wrap it around and snap it in. Yet it took me a long time to manage to line up the snaps. Be patient and go back to it if you are having trouble.

It comes in a very heavy box so be prepared to open it wherever it is delivered and take the pieces out one at a time to where you’ll be assembling it. Take out all the pieces and remove all the packaging to inspect for any damage, just in case there is more than one piece that needs replacing. The babysuperstore folks were incredibly fast in getting me a replacement seat-back due to its having arrived broken. Excellent customer service and very responsive – though they are closed on weekends so you’ll just have to wait for a response to your emails.

UPDATE: THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THIS COMPANY IS BEYOND OUTSTANDING. THEY CALLED ME, AND WE DISCUSSED A QUESTION I HAD. THEY WENT TO THE WAREHOUSE TO LOOK AT ONE OF THE CHAIRS THEY HAD IN STOCK, CALLED ME BACK AND ANSWERED MY QUESTION. REALLY GREAT COMPANY.

We bought this rocker for our son for Christmas since he loves to “gock” lately. It is very nice looking — bright shiny red, and he likes it very much. The assembly instructions were difficult to follow, and didn’t make much sense. They should be revised.

I would have reviewed the item by now, but it has not arrived despite the fact that it was supposed to be here two days ago. So I will rate my floor.

It is hard and flat.

Target is a crappy company even when it comes to shipping their likely crappy chair (we’ll see).

I just recently got this chair for my baby shower. It was easy to put together and is very comfortable. I wish it had a little more lumbar support but nothing a little pillow can’t correct. The only feature lacking is a locking mechanism for the glide feature on the chair.
